Here at Canterbury Road Day Nursery, we strive to create a happy atmosphere, where learning for all children is fun. We provide an imaginative and diverse environment where children become independent, confident and caring individuals.
Children are challenged to reach their full potential by developing their creative thinking and being encouraged to follow their own interests and enthusiasms.
Caring practitioners work in partnership with parents, carers and the community, encouraging them to take an active part in their child’s learning.
Each child’s individual needs are met in an atmosphere that celebrates diversity, where everyone is included and everybody matters.

Our daughter has attended Canterbury Road Day nursery for three and a half years. The nursery provides a warm, caring, loving environment with friendly professional staff, ensuring to meet the personal needs of each child. There is always a wide range of fun activities available, and lots of messy play going on. The outdoor areas are a favourite of our daughters especially where she can make mud pies. The onsite chefs provide a variety of fabulous nutritious meals and snacks all of which our daughter really enjoys. We would highly recommend this day nursery to anyone who is looking for a friendly, fun and loving environment to leave there child.
I began working at Canterbury Road Day Nursery in November 2013, during this time I have felt my work has been acknowledged and appreciated.
Having moved from a career in teaching, I was nervous of the change. I have found that all the staff at the nursery are supportive of each other and all have the common goal of happy children.

We were very apprehensive leaving our daughter as we had a never used a nursery before and our little girl has additional needs. The staff made us instantly at ease and totally confident, we have all enjoyed being at Canterbury Road....especially Willow.

I have worked at Canterbury Road Day Nursery for 3 years, I started as an apprentice and have now completed my level 2 and 3. During That time I have also been awarded student of the year for childcare in Trafford. I have worked closely with Natalie, our Nursery Manager who has helped me with all aspects of my qualifications and I really enjoy my job here. I love seeing the children grow and learn new skills that they can use throughout their lives.
